Q: Why did Ahnsahnghong come from Korea?
A: The Bible says that Jesus will appear a second time in the flesh to bring salvation (Heb 9:28). Wherever the work of salvation begins is the place of His appearance. According to prophecy, an angel with the seal of the living God comes from the east. This seal, which protects individuals from harm and disasters, symbolizes God’s salvation, and the angel carrying it is Second Coming Christ.
“Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice ...‘Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.’”
Revelation 7:2–3
The primary step in recognizing the Savior is identifying what the seal is.
“‘Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.’”
John 6:27
Christ himself has the seal which grants eternal life, and as God’s people become one with him, they also receive the seal. This is made possible only through the New Covenant Passover that allows us to receive His flesh and blood through the Passover bread and wine. (Lk 22:7; 19–20).
“Jesus said to them ... ‘Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them.’”
John 6:56
After its abolishment in A.D. 325, the New Covenant Passover was restored in the east, specifically in South Korea. There is no other eastern land from which the message of Passover was preached. According to prophecy, Ahnsahnghong began preaching the Seal of God in South Korea in 1948, signifying the Second Coming of Christ as the angel from the east.
