The Meaning of the Holy Trinity

It is a miraculous and powerful reality that Almighty God crosses the boundaries of space and time to appear on earth in flesh. The Bible foretold the phenomenon that God the Father would come in the flesh as God the Son and appear once again in the last days as God the Holy Spirit.
Although understanding this concept of the Trinity has been a challenge for many throughout history, to truly comprehend the nature of our Savior, we must carefully study the teachings of the Bible. Jesus said as follows:

“‘Who do people say the Son of Man is?’ ... they replied, ‘Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.’”

The disciples recognized Jesus as the Messiah, meaning the Savior. They realized he was more than just a prophet, a son, or a man.

“Christ himself was an Israelite as far as his human nature is concerned. And he is God, the one who rules over everything and is worthy of eternal praise!”

Romans 9:5 (NLT)

The unwavering faith of Paul and Peter who believed Jesus was God in human form was based on the prophecies about God coming in the flesh. By studying and believing those prophecies, they could realize that Jesus was the Everlasting Father and God over all.

“For a child is born to us, a son is given to us ... he will be called: Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father ...”

God the Father, the Wonderful Counselor came 2,000 years ago as Jesus. According to prophecy, everything Jesus Christ taught at his first coming was abolished during the Dark Ages. For this reason, he made the promise to return as the Holy Spirit and re-teach the truth of the early church.

“But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.”

God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are the Counselor who fulfilled the Trinity. Though Jesus is God himself in nature, he was called the Son of God because he was born as a child in this world. God who is omnipresent came to Earth as a man to walk with his people, show them the way to live, and shed his precious blood to forgive sins.
