Does the “us” in Genesis refer to the Trinity?

Q: Does the "us" in Genesis refer to the Trinity?

A: By definition, the Trinity means God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are one, not more than one (Isa 9:6) Keeping this in mind, let’s look at the first chapter of Genesis.

“Then God said, ‘Let us make man in our image, in our likeness …’ So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him, male and female, he created them.”

When God created mankind, He spoke in plural. This proves that it cannot be referring to the Trinity, who is one God.

Furthermore, if God’s image here referred to the Trinity, three types of people would appear on earth in male form. However, only two images were created: male and female. Among the Trinity, there is not one that has the female image.

The “us” in Genesis refers to the male image of God, who is our Father (Mt 6:9) and the female image of God, who is our mother (Gal 4:26).

Throughout history, mankind has worshiped and believed in only one God, God the Father,
but the Bible has repeatedly taught us that for mankind to receive life
and enter the eternal kingdom of heaven, the existence of God the Mother is essential.
